Yes, We Did; Obama Art

Yesterday marked a day in history; Barack Obama, our 44th president, was sworn into office at noon.  I watched the coverage in a huge conference room at work, where they were showing the inauguration on projectors.  The huge screens at the Comcast center were also showing it, as well as on the lawn of Independence Hall, and in millions of homes, businesses, and community centers across our nation and the world.

Obama has quickly risen to icon status as the face of a nation that we can look up to and believe in.

Artists across the country, from fine artists, to graphic designers, to sculptors have joined in with their own representations of our new president.  Even the campaign he ran was such an amazing display of graphic art, like no campaign we’ve seen before.

Here is some Obama art to celebrate our fabulous new president!
